February Skirt Book Club

Buxton Books is excited to present The Skirt Book Club!

Our first meeting of 2019 will feature WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING by Delia Owens. The discussion will be led by Signe Pike, author of THE LOST QUEEN, and Shelley Young, editor at Skirt Magazine. If you haven't read WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING, it's not too late to purchase your copy from Buxton Books and still attend!

“A nature-infused romance with a killer twist.”

“Slow down and let this lush nature-focused story unspool.... A mystery will pull you along, but stay awhile in the descriptions of shifting tides, shell collections, and the mottled light of coastal Carolina.”

Book club is free and open to everyone who would like to participate! The discussion will begin at 5:30. Wine and snacks will be provided.

We can't wait to see you there!

The Ghosts of Charleston

The highlight of Tour Charleston's Ghosts of Charleston Tour is entering the lush, spellbinding Unitarian Church Graveyard built in 1772. Real time hauntings occur only a handful of times a year. However, since 1996, when we started what is now Charleston's oldest ghost tour, spirits in the Unitarian Church Graveyard have reached out to many people on our tour in visual, tactile and auditory ways.
