Buxton Books is honored to host both Paul Gemignani and Margaret Hall for their book Gemignani: Life and Lessons From Broadway and Beyond.

Give our regards to Broadway! We are welcoming Margaret Hall, leading theater historian, and Paul Gemignani, musical director extraordinaire, into the bookstore for a night of musical theater celebration! On Wednesday, July 6 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, Margaret and Paul will talk about Margaret’s new book, Gemignani: Life and Lessons from Broadway and Beyond. After interviewing Paul for hours each day over the course of several months, Margaret compiled his experiences, situated them in the broader scope of theater history, and thus this book was born.

If you are a Broadway fan who doesn’t yet know of Paul Gemignani and the immense impact he had on the world of musical theater, now is the time to learn! If you do, come anyway for the once in a lifetime opportunity to be face-to-face with Broadway royalty (and, hey, you may learn something new too)! Paul and Margaret will be hanging out after the event to sign books, take pictures, and talk musical theater shop. Please join us!

This is a free, in-store event. Please email rsvp@buxtonbooks.com to reserve your spot.

About GEMIGNANI: LIFE AND LESSONS FROM BROADWAY AND BEYOND:

Gemignani: Life & Lessons from Broadway and Beyond seeks to not only bring the reader into the orchestra pit to learn Gemignani’s story, but to educate the reader as to the crucial role a Music Director plays in bringing some of the most iconic musicals in Broadway history to life.
