About Hafeezah Yates:
Hafeezah Yates is a Charleston-based poet and youth advocate who debuted with this powerful memoir. She brings a voice of authenticity, courage, and deep emotional resonance. Her mission is to uplift women, especially Black women, through truth-telling and creative expression.
